This Distance Sales Agreement governs the purchase, production, customization, payment, shipment, delivery, and use of products ordered through our website.
Taja Marble specializes in handcrafted natural stone products manufactured according to customer-approved specifications. Due to the unique nature of natural stone and the custom-made character of many of our products, customers are encouraged to carefully review all measurements, specifications, drawings, policies, and terms before placing an order.
By completing a purchase through our website, the Buyer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted this Agreement together with all related policies published on the Seller's website, including but not limited to the Terms & Conditions, Shipping Policy, Return & Refund Policy, Warranty Policy, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy.
This Agreement is electronically concluded between the Buyer and the Seller and becomes legally binding upon completion of the order.
We encourage all customers to read this Agreement carefully before proceeding with their purchase.

This Agreement governs the rights and obligations of the Parties concerning the online sale, production, customization, payment, shipment, delivery, and use of products purchased through the Seller's website.
By placing an order, the Buyer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted this Agreement together with the Seller's Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Shipping Policy, Warranty Policy, and Return & Refund Policy.
Product Information
Product Information
The type, dimensions, material, finish, quantity, specifications, shipping costs, taxes, and total purchase price of the products are displayed during checkout and form an integral part of this Agreement.
The Buyer acknowledges that:
- Technical drawings, renderings, and order summaries approved prior to production are binding.
- Custom measurements, drain locations, faucet hole locations, finishes, and stone selections approved by the Buyer become final production specifications.
- Product images are representative only.
- Natural stone products contain inherent variations in color, veining, texture, mineral composition, fossils, crystals, and natural markings.
Such natural variations shall not constitute defects.
Pricing & Payment
Pricing & Payment
All prices displayed on the Seller's website are shown in the applicable currency at the time of purchase.
The Buyer agrees to pay the total amount shown during checkout using one of the approved payment methods available on the website.
The Seller reserves the right to delay production, shipment, or delivery until payment has been successfully verified and received in full.
Ownership of the product remains with the Seller until full payment has been received.

Production Process
Taja Marble specializes in handcrafted natural stone products manufactured according to customer-approved specifications.
The Buyer acknowledges that:
- Most products are custom-made.
- Production begins after final approval of drawings, measurements, specifications, and order details.
- Natural stone products are individually handcrafted and no two pieces are identical.
Estimated production times are generally:
- 2–4 weeks for standard custom products
- 4–8 weeks for large, complex, or highly customized projects
Production timelines are estimates only and may vary due to material availability, supplier delays, production workload, public holidays, quality control procedures, weather conditions, or force majeure events.
The Seller shall not be liable for production delays caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Delivery & Shipping
Delivery & Shipping
The Seller ships products worldwide using approved third-party shipping providers.
Shipping methods may include:
- Express Air Freight
- Courier Services
- Road Freight
- Ocean Freight
Estimated delivery times are provided for informational purposes only and are not guaranteed.
The Seller shall not be responsible for delays caused by:
- Customs inspections
- Transportation disruptions
- Carrier delays
- Weather conditions
- Port congestion
- Government actions
- Public holidays
- Force majeure events
Tracking information will be provided once the shipment has been dispatched.
The Buyer is responsible for monitoring shipment progress and responding to requests from carriers or customs authorities.
Customs Duties, Taxes & Import Charges
Customs Duties, Taxes & Import Charges
International shipments may be subject to:
- Customs duties
- Import taxes
- VAT or GST
- Brokerage fees
- Customs processing fees
- Other government-imposed charges
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all such charges are the sole responsibility of the Buyer.
The Seller has no control over customs regulations, import procedures, tax rates, or local government charges.
Refusal to pay customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or import charges shall not constitute grounds for cancellation, return, refund, compensation, or chargeback claims.
Inspection Upon Delivery
Inspection Upon Delivery
The Buyer must inspect the shipment immediately upon delivery.
In the event of visible damage, the Buyer shall:
- Photograph the packaging and damaged areas.
- Preserve all packaging materials.
- Record an unboxing video whenever possible.
- Notify the Seller within 48 hours.
Failure to provide sufficient documentation may result in denial of transportation damage claims.
Installation, modification, or use of a visibly damaged product may be deemed acceptance of the product's condition.
Right of Withdrawal

The Buyer acknowledges that the majority of products offered by the Seller are manufactured according to customer-approved specifications and are therefore considered custom-made goods.
In accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation regarding personalized and custom-manufactured products, the statutory right of withdrawal shall not apply once production has commenced.
The right of withdrawal shall not apply to:
- Custom-made products
- Personalized products
- Products manufactured according to approved dimensions
- Products manufactured according to approved drawings
- Products produced according to customer specifications
- Products that have entered production
The Buyer expressly accepts these conditions prior to placing an order.
Order Cancellation
Order Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled before production begins.
Once production has started, cancellation requests may be denied or subject to deductions covering:
- Material costs
- Labor costs
- Design and engineering services
- Administrative expenses
- Packaging costs
- Transaction processing fees
Orders that have been completed, packaged, or shipped cannot be cancelled.
The Seller reserves the right to evaluate cancellation requests on a case-by-case basis.
Returns & Refunds
Returns & Refunds
Because the majority of products sold by Taja Marble are custom-made, returns and refunds are generally not accepted.
Returns, refunds, exchanges, or compensation shall not be granted for:
- Change of mind
- Incorrect measurements supplied by the Buyer
- Design preference changes
- Natural stone variations
- Customs duties or import fees
- Shipping delays beyond the Seller's control
- Refusal to pay import charges
Natural stone characteristics including color variation, veining, texture, mineral distribution, fossils, crystals, and natural markings shall not be considered defects.
Any refund granted by the Seller shall be entirely at the Seller's sole discretion.
Warranty & Limitation of Liability
Warranty & Limitation of Liability
Warranty coverage shall be governed by the Seller's published Warranty Policy.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Seller's total liability shall be limited to the purchase price paid by the Buyer for the relevant product.
The Seller shall not be liable for:
- Indirect damages
- Consequential damages
- Business interruption
- Project delays
- Contractor expenses
- Reinstallation costs
- Loss of profits
- Third-party damages
arising from the sale, delivery, installation, transportation, storage, maintenance, or use of the products.
The Seller makes no guarantee that any natural stone product will exactly match photographs, samples, renderings, mockups, or previous orders.
Force Majeure

The Seller shall not be liable for delays, failures, or inability to perform obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Earthquakes
- Floods
- Fires
- Wars
- Labor disputes
- Government actions
- Customs delays
- Transportation disruptions
- Port congestion
- Supplier failures
- Pandemics
- Acts of God
During such events, the Seller's obligations shall be suspended for the duration of the force majeure event.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
Any dispute arising from or relating to this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts and enforcement offices of Türkiye.
The Parties agree to make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes amicably before initiating legal proceedings.
Acceptance of Terms
Acceptance of Terms
By placing an order through the Seller's website, the Buyer confirms that they have:
- Read this Distance Sales Agreement,
- Understood its contents,
- Accepted all terms and conditions,
- Electronically approved the Agreement before completing the purchase.
Electronic acceptance shall have the same legal effect as a handwritten signature and shall be legally binding upon both Parties.
